Good news for Jeremy Mayfield fans yesterday, a federal judge issued a temporary injunction to lift the suspension of Mayfield. With the ruling, Mayfield will be able to drive at Daytona this weekend. Other NASCAR news, officials have announced two more candidates for the Hall of fame yesterday and they include former drivers-turned-owners Glen Wood and Richard Childress. Wood helped to pioneer the modern day pit stop, while Childress shares the record of 11 owner championships in NASCAR’s three national series. A Committee has selected the nominees from drivers, owners and promoters as well.
