The U.S. Senate plans to hold a hearing next week looking into antitrust issues surrounding college football’s Bowl Championship Series (BCS). It will be the second hearing on the BCS help on Capitol Hill this year. President Obama himself has said numerous times he would like to see a playoff system implemented in college football and it may take an act of congress, but we may see the playoffs come to college football.
