The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to 10-22 in their division last night with a 3-1 loss to the fading Chicago Cubs at PNC Park. The Bucs wasted another strong outing from starting pitcher Zach Duke. Duke went seven innings and gave up only three runs on seven hits, but was hit with the loss due to the lack of run support he received. The Pirates got nine hits off of Cubs starter Rich Harden, but they were only able to get across one run. Nyjer Morgan led the Bucs offensively going three-for-four and Andy LaRoche also picked up two hits in the game. Jack Wilson had the lone RBI for the Bucs but he went 0-for-three. The Pirates and Cubs will play game two tonight at 7:05 from PNC Park with the pre-game show beginning at 6:40 on WISR 680AM. Ross Ohlendorf will get the start against Ted Lilly of the Buccos.
