A Butler city couple was sentenced today for a February break-in that happened in the city.

Butler city police say that 21-year-old Joshua Crispin and 24-year-old Surenu Frank burglarized a home back on February the 9th.  Crispin was also charged with a drug law violation in connection with that break-in.  Under the terms of a deal offered by prosecutors, Crispin pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was ordered to serve three years' probation and pay more than $1150 in restitution.  He was also ordered 50 hours of community service.

For her part, Frank pleaded guilty to two first-degree misdemeanor counts of receiving stolen property.  She was also ordered to serve three years' probation, pay more than $1400 in restitution, and 50 hours of community service.

The sentences were handed down this morning by Judge Tim McCune.
