Authorities are investigating a break-in that happened earlier this week in the Portersville area. State Police at Butler say that the perpetrator entered an abandoned trailer along Route 19 in Muddy Creek Township sometime between Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Once inside, the perpetrator stole five black collectable Dale Earnhardt matchbox cars, one pink Dale Earnhardt matchbox car, and a black Dale Earnhardt miniature tractor-trailer.
