A Lawrence County mother faces charges relative to child endangerment for allowing her fiancee access to her children even after she found out he had sexually assaulted them. State Police at New Castle say 28-year-old Nicole Sue McAllister of New Castle has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of corruption of minors, and two felony counts of endangering the welfare of children. The acts were allegedly committed over a five-year period beginning in 2004 at a location in North Beaver Township. McAllister's fiancee, Zearl Fowler, was recently arrested on charges relative to sexual assault. Police say McAllister failed to act and prevent the acts from reoccurring even after one of her children told her what was happening.
