A 16-year-old from the West Sunbury area faces charges after leading State Police on a high-speed chase early Sunday. Officers report that speeds reached 100 miles an hour during the pursuit which started, just after 2:30AM, at the intersection of Staff Road and Route 8 in Brady Township. Troopers tried to stop the car because it matched the description of a vehicle that had eluded Grove City Police Saturday night. The car ran off the road and crashed near the intersection of Hall and Hunt roads in Clay Township. Cops say the teen took off on foot but Troopers were able to catch him. Officers believe the teen had been drinking.
