Officials in the city of Butler and Butler Township are asking residents to give firefighters a hand during this rough weather period that we're experiencing. Residents are being asked by city and township officials to keep fire hydrants in their neighborhoods free of snow in order to assist in firefighting efforts should the need arise. Butler Township Fire Marshal Larry Christy thanks residents who have already dug out fire hydrants in their neighborhoods.
