A Beaver County woman found to have more than a hundred stamp bags of heroin on her as she was being arrested for shoplifting, was sentenced yesterday in Butler County court. Court papers say 26-year-old Abby Schneider of Sewickley was seen taking items from a store along Route 19 in Cranberry Township on August 23rd. She fled and ran into the Toys-R-Us store, where she was finally cornered. Police recovered the merchandise that Schneider took, but that's not all they found. Schneider was also found to have 132 stamp bags of heroin, $1,943 in cash, 112 pills, and drug paraphernalia for heroin use. Judge William Shaffer sentenced Schneider to 1 1/2 to four years in jail, and also ordered her to pay restitution.
